This pub had great food and friendly fast service. It was a great find and service was excellent!! We were travelling through and thought this was a highlight of our trip to Pacific City. Wonderful; Great; Amazing and affordable. We look forward to going again!

It's been 2 years since I was last here. Covid kept me from vacationing in 2020. Prior visits to Sportsman's always resulted in great food & drink. Their panko breaded Ling Cod was invariably delicious - my favorite on the Oregon Coast. On this occasion I ordered takeout. I was really expecting excellence but was sadly disappointed instead. Although the fish was fresh, the serving size was much smaller. The onion rings were soggy, not crispy. Overall a lackluster performance. On the plus side I thought the wait staff was amazing. I'll return next year in hopes things turn back around.

Poor quality
I have ate at Sportsmans for over 9 yrs and have always enjoyed the fresh fish and tater tots. Since the owner died, we ordered last week and was very disappointed with the portion. It was so small. Won't be ordering from there again.

Even though it’s a “bar” pub type place everything was pretty good. People were nice, food was good, prices were good. Chowder wasn’t served very hot so it wasn’t as good as waiter/bartender said it would be. Will try it again sometime. Highly recommend the fresh caught fish and chips. Great selection of beer.
