We've eaten here twice, and both times our food was delicious! The drinks are also great. The staff are wonderful! The building is beautiful and the bar (gasp) stunning. We didn't have to wait to get a table but I'm sure there's times of the day that are busy. We were out walking around shopping, while also trying to find a place that had fish n chips we went by several places that strangely didn't have it (this is a beach town why no fish n chips? But I digress) Anyway perfect location among the shops to stop in for a tasty bite and beverage.

Exceptional Experience
My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner here and the experience was excellent. The food was perfect and our server Gabriella (Hope I spelled that correctly) was just great. We had a table up front by the window that was very nice. We had reservations so there was no wait. We will be back on our next trip to Astoria and will recommend the Silver Salmon Grille to our friends for the great service and good food.

We pre scheduled my birthday dinner with a reservation request for the front booth window. We have done this multiple times before and it’s always been great. But they didn’t have the table reserved and it was occupied. We told the hostess who made little comment, nor did she offer the other front table. We were settled in the back in a not at all busy restaurant. The waiter was very nice. The steak good, broccoli un special, salad so so, bread okay, cocktails fair. We normally have fabulous food there so something has changed or is off. Very disappointed for a special Sunday Eve Dinner. We will take it off our favored list.

A Fantastic lunch experience!
ABSOLUTELY stop in for a meal!!! We came in for lunch and it was marvelous, outstanding. We started off with margarita flat bread which was so good, oozing with melted cheese. LOVED IT! Everything came to the table hot, beautiful presentation and our server Clark was very professional, friendly and attentive. 5 stars for Clark. Then my husband ordered 4pc Halibut, skinny fries and broccoli. Lived in Alaska for 17 years and it tasted like it just came out of the water. So fresh, fried perfectly, clean oil and not greasy. I had Cajun Jambalaya which was also very good. I took home enough for another meal. Then to top it off we chose desert off "the desert tray", hot brownie, hot fudge with vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream!!!!!! Boy was it good We will return again before we head south! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. When inside take the time to look at the decor and history of this restaurant.

Great lunch
This was the second time eating at the Silver Salmon Grille and we again had a very good experience. My wife got the Creole Crab Mac & cheese and I got the Jambalaya with chicken. Both were excellent, although my Jambalaya was at the maximum spiciness that my mouth could take! We finished lunch by sharing a big piece of carrot cake which was delicious. Definitely one of the best meals we've had on our summer vacation trip.
