Beautiful and delicious!
Stopped in on our way to Depoe. Wasn’t sure what to expect but we were extremely happy with our meal. This place is huge and divided into two rooms. The front room is bright with lots of fun touches to look at. We didn’t want anything super heavy so we both choice sandwiches. I got the tuna melt and my husband got the turkey Reuben. For sides there were a few different choices. We both chose a side salad. Sorry, forgot to take pics but let me just say everything was beautifully presented, delicious and huge. And marble rye - Yum! The side salad was not your typical boring lettuce and tomato salad. Carrots, cucumber, two types of tomato, crispy lettuce, and pickles on the side. Seriously, so good and filling that we both took half our sandwiches to go. Shout out to our friendly server, Mike for not only taking good care of us but for also giving us a sightseeing tip in Depoe. We followed his directions, and were able to find another beautiful path along the coast. Perfect way to burn off a few calories. Side Door Cafe has a large menu. Definitely worth checking out!

We have been long time Custer's of Side Door Cafe
Celebrating a 74th Birthday today. We have been long time returning guests of Side Door. This is our always first dining choice when visiting the costal area. The food is of the highest quality expertly prepared and professionally served and presented. The menu is innovative and creative. We have never been disappointed in all the years we have eaten at The Side Door Cafe. Our server today was Amelia she was patient kind and exceptional in providing us with quality services. She contributed to making our dining experience a very special and memorable experience as we were celebrating my wife's 74 th birthday. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich and my wife ordered a special salad not on the menu that the kitchen prepared as per her request as she has many food allergies. The food was outstanding and the extra efforts by the kitchen staff were greatly appreciated. Thanks to all the wonderful Side Door staff your efforts do not go unnoticed or un appreciated. Until we meet again..,, thank each of you.

Wonderful dining experience
Last night we had the most wonderful dining experience we’ve ever had! Our server, Shawnna, gave us the best service and called the Manager, Jake, who moved our seating after complaining of a draft when seated by a door. He was the most accommodating of gentlemen and had the most “polished” response when I asked how long he’d been in his job…he had been a chef for many years and I was so glad he moved from back of house to the front…he was absolutely charming! We were celebrating our 29th anniversary in our favorite restaurant by having the parmarson crusted halibut, which was delicious as always and the only thing we ever order! Desert of bread pudding and carrot cake topped the meal! We have gone to Side Door to celebrate all our special occasions for years…the best part of the evening was when Jake got his own vehicle to jump our dead battery…. what manager does that! Absolutely wonderful evening!

A happy hour gold mine
This is the place to go if you're in the area for happy hour! It's pretty high priced for dinner but happy hour is half off of burgers which are huge and well worth it. Also the Reuben on the regular menu, even though $19, is massive with a huge salad and well worth it. The best Reuben I've ever had and I'm older and have had many. The service was really good. Our server, Gabby, did a fabulous job which is not always that way. So if you're thinking of going make sure you go for happy hour.
