not worth the price
Text: My husband and I recently ate here while in Coos Bay. We ordered 2 baskets, one popcorn shrimp and one crab cakes and one soft drink. The bill with tip ( prices not the waitresses fault) was 70 dollars and the 3 little bitty crab cakes were the size of a half dollar coin- should have stuck with the Bandon Fish market where we share one basket as they are very large!

Thumbs up for down town.
I have eaten here a few times and the food and service has been excellent. Fish, burgers, onion rings, oysters, salads wine and beer. I love that it is on a downtown street and has a unique atmosphere. Service is welcoming, prompt, and friendly. It's not the most touristy spot (bay or ocean view) but close,, yet easy access & parking, great food, and a great view of a Steve Prefontaine mural ( in case you are a runner). Oh yah...and an on site surf shop!! I will come back!

Don't go there unless you like horrible food.
Absolutely the WORST fish and chips. Greasy and the fries tasted like fish. Only one of us was eating and couldn't eat. We all sampled and agreed that it was just awful! Fish was overcooked, dry, yet really greasy. Never, ever had such horrible fries. They are cooked in the same oil as their shrimp bites and consequently the fries tasted like shrimp shells! Really bad. They tried to make the fish right by cooking some more, but it was really bad as well. Very expensive learning experience and a waste of a lot of money.

Mixed review amongst group.
Our group was mixed on how they liked their food. The oysters I had were the best I have ever had. One in the group had the crab cake sandwich and said that the sandwich was the weakest part of the meal. The four others were indifferent. Everyone agreed that the coleslaw and fries that come with the meals were great. The actual entree is where there was the mixed reviews. The staff was friendly. The setting/ambiance was what you would expect in a mid-teered restaurant.

Yummy Food in a fun location!
Great spot for a yummy quick bite downtown. Fun menu. Kid and family friendly. Kind of an eclectic, funky little spot. Food is quite good and servers are helpful and friendly!
