Serving Old-Fashioned Happiness in Historic Downtown McMinnville, Serendipity’s cookies are made from scratch with real butter from Oregon creameries and real vanilla. They bake them fresh every day – and usually several times a day! Their waffle cones are handmade and absolutely scrumptious. They serve Oregon-made Ice Cream, retro bottled sodas and so much more! Great Ice Cream
We really enjoyed the ice cream and different deserts avaible here. I would come back anytime Im in town.

Store-bought ice cream is better
I’m not sure whether we chose the wrong flavors or what, but I’m not getting the great reviews. My husband had the salted caramel, and he said the only thing it had in common with ice cream was that it was cold. I had the chocolate, which looked dark and rich, but really tasted flavorless. You would be better off going to the grocer store and buying a pint of ice cream made by the two gentlemen in Vermont. We definitely won’t be going back.

Old timey ice cream parlor on a cute street
McMinnville’s 3rd St. is very cute, and one reason why is local businesses like Serendipity Ice Cream. This is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor with a fun interior (player piano included!) and a nice variety of flavors, including ones that feature Oregon-specific things like huckleberries. Our ice cream tasted great and had no freezer burn. Service was polite and welcoming. A great place for a sweet treat!

Old Time Feel, Tasty Treats
Oregon-made ice cream, love the old-time feel (historic building! classic Main Street setting! player piano!), and everyone is friendly. Bonus: this is a non-profit business that assists people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
