The Schooner Inn Café is a quaint restaurant that serves delicious food with a great view of the Umpqua River. Come by to check out the view, and stay for the nightly dinner special or some fish tacos.

I ate at the Schooner Cafe off season on a Saturday. Fish and Chips, Cup of Clam Chowder. 20 USD. Very tasty and probably the best fish and chips in the area. Saw thier salads, they looked great!
I've been here twice now. Once in the summer on a weekday, for dinner. I sat outside looking at the water and it was great. Not busy, so good service, great food and at a good price. I brought my wife to this place on the weekend later in the summer for lunch and it was busier (it was the weekend). Nonetheless, the service was good. Food was great, and all at a good price. It was a bit cool outside, but the view was still great. I haven't been inside, but I suspect the greatness continues inside. Hard place to find, but worth the effort. So far, this place has been constantly pleasing.
Stopped here for breakfast before heading to the dunes. It was a lot of good food for a good price. The pie is definitely worth the stop (yeah I had pie for breakfast!)!
After years of traveling through the area we finally stopped here. The end of the building that you see from the parking lot makes it seem small and crowded but the inside was nice and there are tables that overlook the Umpqua River. The fish and chips were good with a nice light breading. Everything was as ordered and service was very good.
Stopped here on our long drive up the coast back to Portland. I had their crab salad, and the others in my group each had a different salad. Each salad looked very appealing and everyone enjoyed them. There was quite a bit of crab on mine, and it looked and tasted local. The service was also very friendly and efficient, and the view from the deck out to the river was really beautiful. We all would recommend the Schooner Inn Cafe and would visit again when in the area.
