This spot is shares a large parking lot with multiple fresh seafood restaurants and stores. All highly recommended, but this one had a large patio for the dog and a menu that was for everyone. We made a good choice. My friend and I shared the Tuna Melt and it was bomb! Absolutely get your own if you are hungry...or can save the other half for later. So good. It was full of fresh tuna and only a little bit of onion and pickles. My husband had the chowder and he liked it so much he barely shared it. What we all shared were the fried pickle spears. We all like them. They were pickle chips and not spears; the owner warned us in advance. They were perfectly crispy and full of pickle flavor. I like thicker pickles slices, but that did not deter me from eating about half of them. My husband had the coffee - apparently it is the place to go pick up coffee, but sadly I already had my Dr. Pepper. He said it was really good. Great place to sit and enjoy the day. Make the stop. The owner is gruff, but don't care. He delivers amazing food and the patio has a view.

I went in to get a cup of coffee and there were two people in front of me. I walk 2 steps away from the counter to check my dog and a guy walked in front of me and then he goes in front of me and starts ordering. I said, no I was here first. Cause I didn't see you. I was standing right there. Just looking out the window checking for my dog. So she's okay, what do you want? She rolls her eyes at me, which I thought was very rude. Which she saw me standing there at the first place. So you won't see me there getting a coffee ever again. That was very rude.

Great food and coffee
The hot Cinnamon rolls and coffee were perfect before our crab and fishing trip! We own an Airbnb The Cozy Crab cottage a block away so we eat there often. There is patio seating overlooking the bay and every day they bake fresh!!

This was our third choice restaurant, the other two closed when we visited. The shrimp fish and chips was the special that day, so we went with that option along with a bowl of chowder. The chowder was nondescript and left me with the impression that it was not made in house. The shrimp fish and chips then arrived and the fish looked like uniform pressed and breaded patties and the shrimp exhibited the same flattened appearance. My assessment was that the protein came out of a bag distributed by a food service company. One the bright side, the french fries were stunningly good and I ate every one of them. Sitting on a Winchester Bay boat dock on the Oregon Coast I was disappointed that I was being served bulk processed food,

Best lox and bagel ever! Great breakfast platter.
This place is wonderful and I highly recommend it for breakfast. Seek it out and eat there! It’s in an unlikely space, inside a “mercantile” shop by the small harbor in Winchester. There are only a few tables inside. We ordered at the window and had a delicious breakfast platter of eggs, bacon and quality sausage, hash browns and biscuit for my husband, expertly cooked to order with wonderful blackberry jam. I had the best lox and bagel I’ve ever had in my life, no exaggeration. It came with a very generous portion of tender Norwegian salmon, cream cheese. capers, red onion and even a sprinkling of fresh dill. It was so beautifully prepared, like a work of art. The cook (or owner, not sure) obviously takes pride in serving good food. The prices are reasonable too. I can’t recommend this little eatery enough. Definitely try it!
