Don’t miss this spot…. outside looks a bit dive barish…small 12 table restaurant with a smaller seating area for coffees and treats We enjoyed fresh local fish perfectly cooked salmon with a lemon butter sauce and parmesan crusted halibut both with a serviceable house salad King Estates Chardonnay rounded out the meal ….. Took a slice of Tollhouse Cake to go Don’t pass this little gem if you’re in town!!!
2 couples, two birthdays to celebrate but nobody told us it had changed hands. This used to be our standby for friends and celebrations. No more. This was absolutely the worse meal I've had in a restaurant. Period. It was a new menu so I opted for a burger, suspecting that $20+ would be gourmet. Nope. the meat was (honest to God) about 1/4 inch thick and processed. Tough. Didn't cover the Bun, which had a swipe of what looked like mayo on the top. Nothing on the bottom. And Potato Chips, yes, potato chips. The other three meals were also terrible. Bathroom was dirty - desperately needed cleaning. The flower boxes and beds just outside the window (also very dirty) were totally neglected and dead, dead, dead. I could go on but you get the picture. Run, don't walk, the other way.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WARM JACKET. VERY COLD. NO HEAT (they do have A space heater). My potato's actually were cold before I could finish them. A piece of fish, half a potato, small salad, and crab cake appetizer. $70. Denny quality. Dry fish, and the crab cake was WAY way over salted. Like I said, nice view.
From the outside Rosanna’s Cafe looks like it could be a greasy spoon diner. The seafood and dessert was exceptional. The king salmon was prepared to perfection and the fried oysters were superb. The dessert of Marian berry cobbler was so good we got a second one to go. This homey little beach front cafe was a very nice surprise.
Gave a 1 only because the waitress was pleasant! However the quality of the food was seriosly disappointing for the price! Whoever heard of serving boiled new potatoes alongside a skillet of a few prawns? My halibut burger though cooked nicely was way too salty! Bun was fresh and red onion and lettuce completed the serving. Chips from a bag just didn't cut it! Are you kidding me? We won't visit again! After visiting this restaurant under previous owners, I am so disappointed that the ambience and quality is seriously deteriorated!
