Their daily goal is to create, serve, and enjoy fine food. They love fresh food, flavorful food, food that’s in season, and food that’s distinct. Every morning before opening the kitchen, they stock the shelves and start preparing for the day so that the food served is as fresh and flavorful as can be.

TERRIFIC! Perhaps our best dinner in 3 weeks. I had the steelhead ($30)with spinach and mushroom sauce...first class! and polenta... very good. For dessert the triple choolate cake which was GLUTEN FREE! There. were more GF choices than on the cruise we just finished. My wife had the salmon..also seared beautifully and very tasty. A guitarist played very well...not overpowering ..he played one song on his trumpet (by my request!), and one song with a guest singer. It was night, so we didn't see the view, but we did see the end of their Christmas decorations which were tasteful. And a delightful waitress!
The spot is amazing! Very courteous and friendly staff. We loved our server Curtis. He was wonderful. He suggested food according to our dietary restrictions. The food was good and His service was on top! Thank you. Also the view from the restaurant is perfect! Definitely coming back!
Truly excellent food - shared a beet salad, then I had the duck confit with risotto and husband had the beef pasta - really delicious, everything. What we didn't expect was being so entertained by the ducks outside the window on the river! So many of them, but it was so funny to see them carried away by the really strong current, only to up and fly back, land, and again be carried away by the current. Like watching them on a lazy river ride at an amusement park. Sorry to go off topic but they were so fun to watch! Back to the restaurant, great service, and I also forgot a great dessert - butterscotch parfait. We were just in Grants Pass for one overnight but I'm sorry we don't live closer to explore more of their extensive and delicious menu. They do it right...I love when they mention several ingredients in a dish...and they are all there! One of my pet peeves when a restaurant does not do that. Very impressed.
In transit from Porsche Rennsport Reunion stopped for the night in Grants Pass. Picked Rivers Edge off the Web. What a find. Excellent smoked Old Fashioned. Tulpen CabSauv was very nice, priced at about 1/3 California tariffs. Dinner of a filet and the lamb matched the wine and the Old Fashioned. But the real highlight of the evening was our server singing with the guitarist. Put a check mark on this place; it’s absolutely worth a visit.
went for our 17th anniversary as we got engaged there . The 14oz steak was overcooked and full of Grizzel, so much that the server asked if i wanted a doggie bag because there was so much left on the plate. The steak had no flavor and their special steak sauce was of no help. Sad that the money they charge and put out a bad meal. The best part of the meal was the salad and our server. Would not recommend it, used to be a fine place to eat but no longer.
