Perfect experience!
I highly recommend Restaurant O. The food was excellent! To start, we had the Chef's cheeseboard and a nice surprise in the amuse bouche. My husband ordered the filet which was perfectly cooked and at our server Shayla's recommendation I had the Carbonara flambe table side. That was a fun experience. We had the tiramisu trio for dessert and for drinks, we ordered the Old Irish Fashion and the slightly sweetened green iced tea, both were great. We sat upstairs with a table overlooking the water. The place has a great atmosphere, and our server Shayla was awesome! We will definitely go back.

The Fine Dining Experience That Wasn't.
We decided to have dinner at Restaurant O while in town for business. For us, it was conveniently located, being walking distance from our hotel and our business schedule. We were able to be seated right away and I thought it was going to be a great experience. I was wrong. The first thing I noticed in the dining room was that the music was way too loud. Luckily, our server agreed to turn it down. Sadly, the experience continued down hill from there. I have to say, it was the worst excuse for food I have ever had in my life. The Caesar was limp and flavorless, the tomato and basil bruschetta was a single, thin strip of crustini, with 3 halved cherry tomatoes, 2 or 3 thin slivers of basil and a drizzle of balsamic and oil. We looked at one another in total disbelief. I took one bite of my entree of scallops and beet risotto, and sent it back to the kitchen. It was absolutely inedible. I think it was the worst thing I have ever tasted in my life. My husband cut into his beef Wellington, took one bite and sent it back to the kitchen. They got the drink order right, though my husband spat out the olive in his martini, saying it was the worst olive he had ever had. Having been in the business myself, I understand the narrow profit margin restaurants run. That said, one can still run a profitable fine dining establishment without holding up the clientele. The staff was pleasant, but the food was horrible and terribly overpriced.

Passion, service, art, kindness, I will bring guests to this establishment the food is beyond wonderful
I want to write not only about the incredible food, but the amazingly holistic experience from the moment we entered and were seated, until the moment we left. It was amazingly wonderful. I was wearing an old stained t-shirt and wrinkled cotton pants, at no time was I made to feel underdressed even though this is an upscale restaurant. The staff was gracious, kind, and patient as we took our time looking over the menu. Staff made a point of asking if any of us had food allergies, and special dietary needs without being prompted. My Mother and I are allergic to crustations, so we really appreciated this effort. Service is deliberately unhurried; make sure you are willing to have a truly relaxed experience. While we waited for plates duck in blackberry sauce, or rack of lamb we were offered samples of ceviche and gazpacho. Finishing the meal we ordered desserts that arrived sculped like masterpieces that could be placed in a museum of art, they tasted even better than heaven. I wish I had taken photos.

Fine dining: incredible all the way around
After parking on the street right in front of the door, we were warmly greeted. Walking through the bar, we entered the main dining room with modern decor, and a view of the open kitchen. We were graced with a free hors d'oeuvre that was almost too beautiful to eat. Our main courses of halibut Normandy and linguini with crab, both extremely reasonably priced, were works of art to view and to tickle the taste buds. Patricia treated us royally! We spent twice as much on meals on our trip for much, much less wonderful food.

Excellent meal
Went here with a large group and everyone loved their food. I had one of the halibut dishes (there were several) and was excellent. The table shared several of the desserts and enjoyed them all. We had very good service. Given the quality of the food, the prices were reasonable.
