Port Hole Cafe serves you home style food like clam chowder, fresh home baked pies in a clean family style setting. In the Cannery Building at the Port of Gold Beach, Oregon. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the mouth of the mighty Rogue River.
The clam chowder bread bowl is amazing! Service was very fast and efficient even with how busy they were! We will definitely be back anything we are in the area.
Quick and tasty
Had the fish tacos for lunch great taste reasonably priced. Good quick service by a window overlooking the marina Try it
Ordered cod fish tacos, not much cod. It was more like a vegi taco. Ground sirloin was slathered in brown salty gravy.
Awful food. Cod fish taco mostly cabbage. Sirloin was slathered in salty boxed brown gravy. Won’t return. Not worth the $
After a 20 min wait we were seated and greeted fairly quickly. The waitress either did not convey our order properly (ordered white gravy received brown gravy), or specific request (extra crispy fries) but being very hungry we “oh welled” the miscues. The food was pretty average at best save the chicken fried steak, it was above avg. The highly touted homemade desserts were of cafeteria (high school) quality.
Great fish and chips!
Great view of the rogue river! Really good food! Service was good and potions large. I just wish I’d had room for pie, it looked amazing!
