My wife and I were wandering in Independence area and found this little Pink House Cafe. We stopped by out of curiosity and thought we'd check it out. The lady that took our order told me that the restaurant is an 80 year old house that they converted into an amazing place to eat. They have 2 outdoor seating on each side of the house, a couple of tables on the porch and 2 room seating with at least 3 tables in each room. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer prime rib for your liking. Check it out yourself, I'm sure you'd be amazed too.
Super cool when a cafe is inside of an old house like this one. We had some fun walking around and checking things out. Seating can be a little tight and sound travels very easily in this old home so you hear everyone's conversations. Food was really good. Our waiter was.... slow. He was incredibly quiet to the point we could not understand him. It diminished the overall experience which was otherwise good.
I’m very high covid risk so eating out Is a life risk for me. But 2020 Graduates matter, too, so I agreed to attend an “end of the year” lunch celebration. It was amazing!! I felt happy and comfortable eating here. Heath standards off the chart, safe distancing and all while making ALL feel welcome. Oh, and best Greek Salad EVER! I’ll be going back!
Located in an old house near the center of town, the Pink House Cafe has a limited but very tasty menu for dinner; we have not tried their breakfast yet. Service was friendly and attentive, the food quite delicious and the cost very reasonable.
The Pink House offers a diverse menu in a quaint and comfortable setting. The staff is friendly and the food is great.
