They are very friendly here, great service and have a large selection but $14.50 for a cheeseburger that was only 1/4 of an inch thick is crazy. If I had known I would not have gone.

A Better-than-Expected Breakfast Option! On our road trip throughout CA, OR, and WA to tour several national parks, we spent the night in Coos Bay en route to Redwood National Park. We asked around about breakfast options and were told they were pretty limited. So, we lowered our expectations. Happily, the Pancake Mill was open, parking spaces were available, and we walked right in. This is a folksy, cute diner that we could have stepped into a generation ago. Or two generations ago. They had a big pastry case up front with all manner of fluffy carbohydrates - pies, muffins... And the women who served and seated us were terrific. The menu offered a wide variety of eggs, hash browns, meats, and the aforementioned bakery treats. I enjoyed my enormous omelet loaded with veggies and a better-than-expected fruit salad on the side with a variety of fresh berries and melon. Prices were very reasonable - - low, in fact. I am very glad we went here.

Great place for breakfast.
O.M.G.! We got there early on a Sunday morning, before the rush and were seated in about five minutes. Beverages were quickly provided and our orders were served in a short time. Food was delicious and portions generous. Price was within normal for what we’ve experienced. Pastries are to die for. Along with being full, then we tried to add the delicious pastry besides. The pastry can be added as one of your choices for a side. Omelettes were large and you could choose two sides, one of which could be a pastry. Great service, friendly staff and an overall wonderful experience.

Fantastic Food & Great Service!
Terrific service, wonderful food, generous portions! This is a great place with terrific food. The restaurant was busy, but we had a short wait and the staff were attentive without being overly so. Considering the amount of people there, it was impressive service. We will definitely be back!

Worth the wait!
Busy place. Our food was really good. My husband said his chicken fried steak was the best he has ever had. They make homemade syrup and we got some strawberry to take home. It was very reasonably priced.
