Great meal and dining experience.
We had an early dinner and we were pleasantly surprised of the large selection on the menu. The food was delicious. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Our 1st stop when we arrive into Pacific City
So happy to see Rebecca and the staff at the Oar House. So many new employees with great positive attitudes. The food is great as Mike and staff in the kitchen obviously take a lot of pride in how they prepare the food. Lasagna and Ragu were very well prepared and served perfectly with a piece of garlic toast. Mandy is also an outstanding bartender. If your in Pacific City, give it a try

Excellent food!
Great service and tasty food! We shared a salad with gorgonzola and some kind of nut (excuse me, I can't remember precisely) that was exceptional. My wife had the Simply Grilled Salmon which was very good and I had Fish Tacos, again, excellent. We shared the decadent Chocolate Lava Cake which was delicious. Highly recommended and will go again. Only advice: Resereve ahead, it's busy.

A Pleasant Surprise
Very surprised by this place. Went there because we read about their clam chowder. Interior is average with a full bar and some outdoor seating. The menu and the quality of the food was far above average and included very creative/interesting items. The chowder was indeed delicious. It was not the typical thick potatoey chowder with some clams here and there. Rather, it is a lighter broth filled with excellent large pieces of clams, bacon, ham and celery. It was a meal in itself. We also ordered the turkey BLT with sweet potato fries which was delicious. And, the steamer clams were also delicious, served in a rich buttery broth with a side of toast. The Quilters Irish Death beer went very well with all the food. It was a “wine Wednesday” so all bottles of wine were half off, which made it easy to pick a couple of bottles from from the list. Our server Mandy helped make our visit a great one.
