Yum!!
YUM! Great food, great drinks, great service! Relaxed environment with a view of a little bay offshoot in the less busy side of Pacific City. Highly recommend this place!!

A Pleasant Surprise
Very surprised by this place. Went there because we read about their clam chowder. Interior is average with a full bar and some outdoor seating. The menu and the quality of the food was far above average and included very creative/interesting items. The chowder was indeed delicious. It was not the typical thick potatoey chowder with some clams here and there. Rather, it is a lighter broth filled with excellent large pieces of clams, bacon, ham and celery. It was a meal in itself. We also ordered the turkey BLT with sweet potato fries which was delicious. And, the steamer clams were also delicious, served in a rich buttery broth with a side of toast. The Quilters Irish Death beer went very well with all the food. It was a “wine Wednesday” so all bottles of wine were half off, which made it easy to pick a couple of bottles from from the list. Our server Mandy helped make our visit a great one.

Happy to recommend
In August of 2022, we were too early to enter the rental beach house so came here to eat a late lunch and relax. I don't remember what we ordered but I remember finding everything we ate to be very good and the service was just as nice. Good experience, good people, will return someday.

Excellent food and service
We've eaten here several times, always when we head out to the coast. The food is excellent and service is friendly. Chef Michael really knows his flavors and creates some unique sauces and dressings that I have not tasted anywhere else.

What is wrong with people
Tonight we had dinner at the Oar House. The food was delicious and Rebecca is the best (owner and server). The staff are so accommodating and professional. However, some customers have to realize that there is still a staff shortage at many restaurants (not just in Pacific City). If you can not exercise some patience (STAY HOME)
