Place is rad
I stopped by North Dallas Bar & Grill and had a great experience. I ordered the French dip to go and it was absolutely bomb — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and the au jus was spot on. Even though I was just grabbing food to take with me, the atmosphere and service still stood out. Jordan, the bartender, was amazing and super welcoming from the moment I walked in. It’s always nice when someone takes the time to be friendly and make you feel comfortable, even during a quick pickup. Everyone there was really nice and the whole place had a great vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. If the French dip is any indication of the rest of the menu, this place is a winner.

Half the portion!
I really hate to be a complainer but I've been eating here very frequently for a year since moving to Dallas, Oregon. I have always gotten the same thing everytime, the chicken tenders. I fell in love at first bite. The 5 piece meal with fries was a good bang for your buck. NOT ANYMORE! I ordered them a few days ago and was very shocked to see that they had been cut in half. The portion was half of what it used to be. I was thinking that the waitress made a mistake. I ordered them again last night and the order came out the same as a few days ago. You now get half the portion for the same price. If they think that a customer doesn't notice believe me I did.

BAD BARTENDER
I came to Dallas to visit my mom on my 59th birthday. I live in Tacoma WA. Went to this restaurant to enjoy a nice birthday dinner, with celebratory drinks included. Bartender 'Thomas' served me one drink, and when I returned for my second drink order, he declined to serve me because I seemed intoxicated to him. It was so embarrassing, to have to return to my table and tell my family that I was not allowed to purchase any more drinks. What kind of restaurant does that? This restaurant is labeled a BAR and grill, but don't get buzzed after one drink because their bartender will refuse to serve you! How rude and hypocritical. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Good food, good value, good service.
Stopped for dinner after work on way to coast around 5:30 and were seated right away. Attentive and quick service. Place filled up quickly, but our orders came out promptly. I ordered the fish n chips (cod, not halibut) which was hot and crispy. I especially enjoyed discovering a new twist to their coleslaw… I don’t quite know what the additional ingredient was (pineapple maybe?) but I begrudged what I couldn’t get off the kale leaf on my plate. My husband thought the ribeye he ordered was good. I got to enjoy most of the veggies he didn’t expect. Plenty of tater tots for both of us. Good value for price.

Discrimination against people with disabilities
My husband and I went to North Dallas Bar & Grill today for a nice Sunday lunch. I have a medical alert service dog. We went in and found a seat away from other people inside. it is 90 degrees outside and my service dog is mainly black and is a long coat German Shepherd. The waitress came over and went off at us how we need to go outside. I informed her that he is a medical alert service dog and by federal ADA law we can not be denied access it is to hot for my dog to be laying outside on the concrete in the sun. she went off again about how we need to go outside. Once again told her no by law she can't ask us to do that regardless of if she has allergies, she can get us a new waiter to take care of us if that is an issue. She said fine only this 1 time in a very rude manner.... she asked us what we wanted to drink. My husband and I asked for water. 10 minutes go by, still no water, then hear the kitchen say hey your water is ready to the waitress. another 5 minutes go by still no water. At this point my husband and I get up to leave and she asks if we didn't like anything on the menu...I replied that we didn't like her attitude. This place needs a LOT of training on how to treat people with disabilities and about discrimination...
