Best Indian food ever
I love Indian food but always hesitate when it comes to eating at an Indian restaurant because I do not like heavy curries. This place is really excellent with wonderful tasting fresh food from the Punjab. I do my best to eat a plant based diet and Nirvana has a wide range of choices. We had the vegetable Pakora (very well cooked - slightly salty, crunchy but soft inside and yummy dipping sauces) as an appetizer then plain Naan bread (nicely cooked in a tandoori oven), I had the Tofu Matar (excellent spicing and very tasty - hot but not too hot) and my wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala (very tender chicken and a rich not too hot sauce. We both really enjoyed the meal. The heat in the food developed when you were chewing and after swallowing - That to me shows a chef who knows how to spice well. In a "past life" I was a Chai Tea addict and it is still a weakness. We tried the Chai Tea and it was pleasant but not spiced enough for me and I found it a little on the bland side personally. The food left a really pleasant aftertaste and a clean palate. We will be back as it falls into our BEST ever Indian food restaurant.

Great food
Very delicious food and friendly staff. Food was delivered quickly. Lots of nice interaction with the staff. It is now my favorite restaurant in Corvallis.

Just average Indian food. Not as flavorful as the real deal.
The family is nice and very attentive but the flavor was absent. Maybe it depends on region but I am used to much more spice to my food and flavor. All the dishes almost tasted the same. The tandoori was not good and I have never had bad tandoori before. Very disappointed.

Bad biryani, scorched naan
We ate at the old location on 9th several years ago and it was pretty bad but when they moved within walking distance of our house we thought we'd try it again to see if it had improved. It hadn't. The chicken biryani was tasteless and sticky, the naan was tough and blackened, and the saag paneer tasted like throw-up. I really wanted like this place but it's awful food.
