The halibut is delicious!!!!
Four of us were first for lunch at this restaurant. The service was fast with pleasant servers. We (two couples) all had the halibut fish and chip - ale batter. The batter was crunchy and light - not heavy. There were three pieces of fish - good thickness. The fries were great as well! Definitely worth every penny! All four of us highly recommend the halibut!

Feels like they’re annoyed you’re there to pay for food.
Only food option in the area for a full lunch… feels like you’ve shown up at someone’s house uninvited and asked them to make you food. Want to brab your own napkins? Nu uh. You have to ask for them and the blonde at the counter is clearly annoyed you’re asking for them… but they’re kept behind the counter. Want to get vinegar or ketchup? Same thing. It feels like you’re taking her personal supply, and it’s being given against her will. Soda refills? Same thing. The food was mid. The service was terrible, and it wasn’t cheap. Definitely won’t return.

Good choice on a cold day
We stopped in for some clam chowder after seeing the Devil’s Punchbowl. It was very cold outside, so the clam chowder was a perfect choice.

Eating Chowder and Watching Waves
So here we are in the parking lot of Devil’s Churn and turning around, there’s the Mo’s Restaurant. A little shack on the edge of the parking lot. Years ago, I remember eating here on a previous trip. A good idea for today as well. Mo’s is a little place with one room. We order at the counter and eat at one of the few tables. Lots of ocean posters, mostly touting surfing. Fun. My wife and I shared a bowl of clam chowder. It was good. And fun to eat and watch the ocean out the window.
