Good solid fish and chips
Fish tacos with blackened cod was a favorite, with corn tortillas and shredded cabbage as base. Fish and chips were four large crispy chunks of cod. Clam chowder a bit thick for our preference. Friendly and attentive wait staff.

Best chowduh!
Simply the best chowder in the west! Also tried the shrimp salad sandwich that was loaded with tiny bay shrimp. Everything was tasty and absolutely delicious. The only drawback is the speed of service. It took forever to actually have my order taken and an extraordinary long amount of time to get my entree. The waitress was a bit over the top friendly, that just came across as insincere. Despite this, MO’s is always worth a visit. This one also has a lovely harbor view.

Meh…
I’m sad and disappointed in my recent trip to MO’s. It used to be one of my favorite places to go when we’d visit the coast. There wasn’t very much seafood on my combination plater (mostly fries). I don’t think that most of the fried pieces that were supposed to be clam strips had clams in them. It tasted like it was mostly breading. With that I received two small tail end pieces of fish that were chewy and 3 prawns.

Moes blows
Moes was a destination restaurant for many years, the slow service and excuses of being short handed are tiring. They need to overcome or shut down. It took an hour and 10 minutes to get a couple of chowder bowls and a fish sandwich. The view is always great but moes has lost its way. Will they find their way back?

Not very good.
Mediocre is the word that describes my dining experience at Mo's. The clam chowder had some kind of strange slick on top--other reviewers have noted it might be butter, but I'm unsure. It didn't taste very good. Clams seemed to be scarce in this chowder, too. I ordered the simplest item on the menu--grilled halibut which was okay. Only one of two side options was available: French fries or pilaf. I tried the pilaf--which was flavorless. The lemonade was the most artificial tasting I've ever encountered at a restaurant in this price range. The server was friendly, but it seemed to take a long time after I finished my chowder until the halibut arrived.
