Located in Old Town Florence, Mo’s Restaurant sits over the beautiful Siuslaw River. Come in and enjoy a wonderful plate of Cod Fish and Chips or bowl of chowder while watching the fishing boats pass and the sea lions play.

    Amazing

The food was amazing, the waitress was really nice, and i like the aesthetic. (I recommend the clam chowder)

    Food not hot, no flavor

We usually love Mo's but this visit was a disappointment. Clam chowder was barely warm- ick!, Hubby had cod fish and chips- again NOT HOT, barely warm. Fish was dry and fries were barely warm. Seems like they had sat under warming lights for a long time. I had cold bay shrimp sandwich. It had plenty of shrimp but no flavor. Didn't complain, just paid the bill and left.

    Best clam chowder around!

Evidently this is a chain with locations in several coastal towns. I can only speak for this specific one in Florence, so I have no idea if they are all similar. I had 3 grilled shrimp skewers, clam chowder and lime cauliflower rice. The chowder was excellent - the best I had anywhere in Florence during my stay!! The shrimp was good too but I didn’t care for the cauliflower rice. The food came very fast! The atmosphere isn’t great imo - it’s a very loud place, best for families with lots of kids or large groups. The seating is picnic tables so, along with the noise level, gives an overly casual, almost cafeteria atmosphere. The service was ok, no complaints, but not super attentive either. Overall I prefer a different atmosphere but I would absolutely go again just for the clam chowder! FYI, they are closed weird hours/days midweek so check before you go.

    Quick service and dependable classics

Halibut fish and chips were good, side of homemade bread to dip and clam chowder were all great. We were impressed at the attentive well staffed service. We were seated near a window immediately and were in and out in 30 minutes.

    Family meal

Went back to MO’s on our 4th of July vacation. My wife and I had the fish tacos and my Grandson a cheese burger and fries. The fish tacos come as a trio with salsa. The cod is on a slaw that has a slight bite to it. They are really great. You have a choice of side and we always get the chowder it’s topped with bay seasoning and comes with crackers. It’s a great meal and very reasonable.
