While we were initially suspicious that Moâs was living on its reputation, we decided to have lunch there in Florence. On a Tuesday, parking in August was tough. When we walked in, we were lucky enough to get a window table. Our server, Noel, was right there to help us out. We ordered two entrĂ©es, the combination platter and the fried clam platter. Both came with two sides and we ordered the same things. A cup of clam chowder and french fries. The clam chowder was filled with clams and they put a dab of butter on top to add some richness. I donât know how they do it, but both platters came out within minutes. Both were hot. The combination platter came with a chunk of fried cod, fried shrimp, and fried clams. Both of us thought our food was really good. Iâm happy to report that I recommend Moâsâs in Florence anyone.

Casual seafood on the river docks
Great location on the river and has quality seafood. Very casual place. Basically picnic tables with benches. If youâre OK with that, then this is a great place. The service was good and the servers are engaging and attentive.

Service was good but food was horrendous do not recommend going by to mos clan chowder was old and bland definitely from a can DO NOT GET THE OYSTERS they are brought out in a plastic cup and have a giant spoon full of sauce I recommend not going to mos will get sick afterwords better save your money way to pricey for that quality of food

IT'S POTATO CHOWDER, NOT CLAM
The clam chowder is NOT a "clam chowder" , has instead 99% potatoes, cream etc and only 2 tiny clams. It's a POTATO CHOWDER, not clam. Price for it exceeds all reasonable levels. Either make it CLAM or dont advertiser as " clam chowder".
