Service was good but food was horrendous do not recommend going by to mos clan chowder was old and bland definitely from a can DO NOT GET THE OYSTERS they are brought out in a plastic cup and have a giant spoon full of sauce I recommend not going to mos will get sick afterwords better save your money way to pricey for that quality of food

IT'S POTATO CHOWDER, NOT CLAM
The clam chowder is NOT a "clam chowder" , has instead 99% potatoes, cream etc and only 2 tiny clams. It's a POTATO CHOWDER, not clam. Price for it exceeds all reasonable levels. Either make it CLAM or dont advertiser as " clam chowder".

Excellent experience. Fun place to dine… nice view, cool atmosphere. The food is very good. The service also was very good.

Horrible chowder served lukewarm.
My husband and I went to the Mo's in Florence Oregon, hoping to wrap up our lovely day at the beach with some of their "famous clam chowder." The soup arrived lukewarm, the clam pieces were miniscule, and there wasn't any bacon to be seen. The soup base was like paste and it wasn't even served with bread. We informed one of the staff about the soup temperature, who wouldn't look up or even acknowledge we were speaking to her. By the time we made the 90 minute trip back to Eugene, we were both ill with terrible stomach cramps... We would have been much better off eating canned soup and saved ourselves $25. It had been years since we'd been to Mo's and considered them mediocre at best, evidently things have gone downhill.

We were so excited to try this place as we saw on social media that they have the best chowder ever!! It’s not…. I didn’t even eat half of it and I was hungry!! Covered heavily with paprika, it was just odd and had the slightest hint of cumin I think? Butter pooled around the edges and I hunted around for a while for a clam or two… Hubby had a fish sandwich and said it was ok Food was ok but the atmosphere was pretty cool- sat by the windows and watched people crabbing on the docks !!
