The service started with a greeting at the door and continued as we enjoyed our meal. The food is great!
The experience started at the door with a greeting and great service and food. I had the lox on a croissant. My husband had the schnitzel. Both were beautifully presented.

How to turn disappointment into bliss
We stopped in to have oysters - which were really great the last time we visited. But, they were out of Oysters! So, went with their Portobello sandwich. Danged but it was exquisite! A great place, even when out of oysters!!!

Delicious food and beautiful presentation
Unassuming small restaurant/bar with maybe six indoor tables in Florence. The food was sooo good! I think they have outdoor seating but it was cold and raining. They are off the water and their prices are good. We paid $19 for a beautifully prepared and presented tri-tip on a half-slice of rosemary bread.

Great Food
I came in on a Friday late afternoon and I was able to snag a window seat in the front of the restaurant. Ordered the crab melt with a bowl of clam chowder and the sandwich was served on rosemary bread. The crab melt tasted delicious but it disappointed me in the fact there was very little crab.

Overlooked gem in Old Town
As a local in Florence this is one of my favorites. Small and charming little place with great food. Somehow this place doesn’t get the popularity of other really good restaurants in Florence which is fine with me because I often get a table here when other good restaurants have people waiting in line. Small and cozy feel makes it especially conducive for couples. Great service.
