Whenever we are in the area... our dinner plans always include Lord Bennett's. Besides a spectacular view, this is a pure delicious experience with so many wonderfully curated entrees. The quality salmon is always wonderfully cooked... and the mixed vegetables are absolutely tasty... I'm a vegetable lover and they are always part of the entree. On top of the view, delicious and nutritious entrees, oh, their complimentary breads... the prices are really affordable..

Best dinner of my life
An amazing dinner. The freshest and best prepared king salmon I have ever had, and I have had plenty of opportunity having lived in Alaska for 34 years. I found it necessary to thank the chef personally for the best meal of my life. Only wish I had reserved room for dessert!

If this is truly one of Bandon’s “favorite restaurants,” its good citizens deserve an upgrade. My dining experience here was one I hope to soon expunge from memory. I opted for a fish dinner, considering that accompanied by rice and vegetables, it would be a comparatively healthy choice. The nut-crusted halibut was fried in some sort of coating which I scraped off as best I could, attempting to combine bites of the remaining fish with rice pilaf and veggies. However, the veggies were coated in oil and the rice was oily, too. A side of chunked butternut squash was unpierceable with a fork. The $38 entree proved to be inedible. A better bet is to choose one of the downtown fish shacks for an early dinner. I had an excellent lunch there for half the cost. One of them even offers $8 corkage.

30th Anniversary New Year's Eve Dinner - December 31, 2025
Lord Bennett's is our go-to for fine dining when we are in Bandon to celebrate special anniversary's. We were here for our 30th wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve. The wait staff is always very attentive. I ordered prime rib with veggies. Veggies were wonderful sauteed in butter and seasoning. Before the main course, the wait staff brings bread to the table along with cranberry bread in the bread basket. I ordered a specialty dessert and took it home with me. The view at the restaurant of Face Rock is the best in town.

Sunset Dinner and Drinks
Lord Bennett’s was one of the highlights of our Bandon trip. Food was delicious, service was on point and prices were reasonable for the area. We were also lucky enough to have one of the tables giving us a great view of the ocean at sunset.
