Eat here.
Stumbled into the place after a suggestion from front desk at our hotel. Food was much better than I anticipated as I was thinking L&L but the food like I was in Hawaii at a place frequented by locals. Short ribs were perfect as was the Hawaiian steak. Macaroni salad also tasted like the versions I had in Hawaii. Place is spartan but it was efficient and a great value. Sadly, no beer or my favorite Kalua pork but I would return regardless. Worth a try.

Busy, authentic Hawaiian grinds!
Very good quality, authentic Hawaiian food. Great variety on the menu. Odd location on 2nd floor of building, but that doesn’t appear to be negatively impacting business…the place was full when we were there for lunch, and had a steady flow of folks coming in. We had Hawaiian steak and chicken. Great taste and portions, and not overly sauced. Their Mac salad was top notch!

Customer service
Normally good. I like the steak here very much. But in today's order, the steak felt like chewing on rubber. I took the order back to the restaurant and explained, but they refused to listen to me and said that's how it is. But I know that's not how it is, which is why I regularly get my dinners from them. If you screwup, you should be able to say sorry and correct the mistake. Last time I ordered from these people.

Huge amounts of protein
Hard to find the first time because it’s on the second floor. The meat dishes are cooked well and the sauces are tasty. The Mac salad along with everything else is the epitome of comfort food. The servings of the mains are very large. I think a student could live on one medium plate for several days.
