Mersadee Lulay, owner of Little Leaf Cafe remembers the first time she cooked a meal from scratch that she was proud of. It was a tomato and veggie sauce made with vegetables that she had just picked from the garden of a restaurant that she was working at in the Everglades of Florida. It was simple and delicious served over pasta and it was a moment that really shifted her love of food and eating.
Since then, she’s had the pleasure of preparing food for friends, family, and strangers.
She has made many a meal over a fire alongside some of the country’s most beautiful rivers, in a food truck looking at the Tetons in Wyoming, and in a garage in Malibu California for a celebrity wedding.
Now that she’s planted her roots back in Oregon, it’s her hope to bring you food that will nourish your body, and feed your soul.
