Here for lunch on a local suggestion. Asked to "seat myself", then waited 5 minutes for a server. I asked for water and hot tea and was asked if I needed a menu. (I thought i did as it was mt first visit!) I ordered a luncheon special. Received my soup/water/hot tea quickly. (Hot & sour) - it was very tasty and full of "stuff". When my order came....WOW! it was a pile of food (chicken/shrimp in bean sauce, Pork Fried rice and an egg roll) Food was very good! My server never came back to check on my meal or me. I finished my lunch and made a trip to the restroom. Saw my server for the 1st time since food delivery and asked for my check. One of many lunch specials - $10.95. (hot tea included). I'll go back but won't expect good service.
If you want a super selection of Great Asian food this is the place to go. Very convenient on 101 in Newport with large portions of your favorites. Always plenty to take home or to share.
It's actually a typical Chinese restaurant. Lots of variety but all the standards. Very fresh and tasty. What got us was the serving sizes were enormous. We couldn't even get through half of the food. I'd suggest ordering one entrée and sharing for two. Oh, yes, they served soup, which was unexpected with the entrées (we weren't ordering combination dinners). The Hot and Sour soup tasted homemade.
We went on Friday nite for the first time. Large menu, friendly helpful service, and food was great. We took about half of it home for lunch the next day. Looking forward to trying other menu items.
We go to a lot of Chinese restaurants and this one came highly recommended. We realized we had been there before and remembered being pleased. The food was very good but this time the service was not. We had to look around for someone to seat us. We didn't get the feeling of being particularly welcome. I like to be delighted with the service -- something that differentiates it from any other place -- but it was just average.
