The Lazy Susan Cafe is a favorite downtown Cannon Beach breakfast spot, with omelettes done in almost every imaginable way. At lunchtime the cafe offers warm stews, French baguettes and salads, in addition to homemade desserts.

An excellent experience. Kind greeting, gentle directions to wait outside (OK as the weather was lovely), once seated, nice ambiance and prompt coffee. Terrific omelette and potatoes. Good service (attentive without being intrusive). I very much liked the coffee, but do wish I had left behind that last bit in the cup (grounds). Prices seemed high to me, but I am unfamiliar with Cannon Beach, so possibly appropriate in that area. Fine for vacation dining; I couldn't afford as my regular breakfast place. This visit was downstairs. Upstairs may feel different, with people traipsing by to use the restrooms. It is ridiculous that the two, single-serve, bathrooms are gendered. Suggest using whichever one is available, whoever you are.

This is a third time going to Lazy Susan, and while the food is good, this is way overpriced for what you get. $24 for a very small slice of quiche, and a very small side salad- paid cash, is excessive. The cup of clam chowder was $11 and didn’t have much clams and it’s just a cup. Again I like their food but I can’t justify to pay so much for it. It’s too bad.

Wow
Had to try this place based on the reviews we saw... and wow! it was excellent. The food was SUPER good and the place is very cool. The scones are amazing! The young ladies serving were very friendly and pleasant. FYI: cash only but there's an ATM right across the street. VERY happy here.

Stellar Breakfast
This small breakfast & lunch spot has a European cafe feel. Food is prepared in an open kitchen & brought to tables quickly. Servers are cheerful and provide top notch service. The omelet of the day was prepared with wild smoked salmon & cream cheese. It was luscious. It was served with potatoes & an English muffin. The Fiesta Omelet, with mild green chilies, cheese & salsa was rich & savory. The 'Tilly' breakfast had two poached eggs with melted cheese. The poached eggs were prepared perfectly and served with lightly seasoned potatoes. Pastries, muffins, scones and other bakery goods are available. They were hard to resist. Hot water with lemon is an item which I love on a chilly damp morning. I've never seen it on a menu before but love that they have it as a choice. We had never been seated upstairs before, but on one visit we were told they had enough servers to open it up. It was as darling as the main dining room. This is a favorite place of ours & a must visit when in Cannon Beach.
