fun and relaxing
we came back to the lakeside hideaway for food to go on a stormy day in late sept....traci was the staff person....she was great, and it was so busy ......we ordered 2 shrimp louies one day, and came back in early oct, and ordered the shrimp melt with tots, and the captains platter another time to go....the food was delicious....traci was the friendliest staff person...the view of lake lytle is amazing....thx so much....

Our anniversary meal
The worst service & eating spot imaginable. Our anniversary but were treated like scum. Food was barely eatable. Smokey. Worst spot in 13 days of eating in Oregon!

Gelatinous clam chowder of death
Absolutely disgusting clam chowder. It was like sweet fishy jello that smelled like rotten feet. The restaurant itself was dirty and combined with the putrid clam chowder I left feeling like I was gonna die even though I only ate one bite. Absolutely horrid but the server was mediocre so I guess there is that.

THEY SIDE WITH HARASSERS, DO NOT GO HERE
This bar caters to their "locals" even when their locals sexually harass young women. If you are a young woman DO NOT GO HERE! It is NOT a safe space for you. After telling the bartenders/managers that we were being harassed by a group of men they told us that we were causing a scene and needed to leave, and sided wholly with the harassers. I am appalled by the behavior of the staff and their willingness to blame my young sister and I for the behavior of older men (whistling, making faces, staring, snide demeaning comments, and worse). Please do not go here, especially if you have young girls or are one yourself.

Great spot with really good food and even better service.
This restaurant is a awesome option for dining in Rockaway. I felt felt that the food was pretty dang good, though a bit spendy. The staff were very accommodating, especially the manager Marissa. Saturday nights can get a bit loud for families with karaoke but that is to be expected for a fun night spot in town. There are plenty of great options for food, using local sources when possible. The beer list is somewhat limited but still has great offerings on tap.
