We’ve been to La Maison several times over the 20 years. Again today, another religious experience while eating breakfast. I realize how odd it seems to exhibit emotion while eating breakfast, but this cafe’s creations has brought tears to my eyes every time we’ve been there. The care taken in their preparation, the exquisite pairing of flavorings, and the atmosphere and interactions with the people who work there, make you feel as if you’re the character Anton Ego from the movie Ratatouille being transported to his mother’s kitchen. I cannot say enough about La Maison. Bravo!

A for sure stop for breakfast in Newport
A highly rated breakfast restaurant and bakery in Newport was a pleasant surprise for us. We had not been there but found it easily and it's an old house fixed up with incredible food. The owner is highly friendly and makes everything from scratch. The pastries are incredible! The Benedicts are also incredible!

TRANSPORTED TO PARIS....THE BEST ON THE OREGON COAST!
Best breakfast on the west coast of Oregon! If we lived in Newport we would eat every meal in this restaurant...if we could! The pastries are to die for. Eggs Sardou with artichokes and ham....out of this world! THIS BY FAR IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN NEWPORT IF NOT ON THE WEST COAST OF OREGON!

Delucious find for lunch!
A wonderful surprise in a small Newport neighborhood, La Maison is a French bakery and Cafe. The food is original, fresh and superb. The Eggs Sardou were exceptional, the Roast Pork Sandwich was superb and the Pear Martini was delicious beyond measure! We'll return again and yet again!
