Great Mexican food!
Not just your ordinary Mexican restaurant! The food was delicious and even more so when you added the special sauce to it! You ask what the special sauce is? Ask Pablo, or so he says that's his name. LOL! The special sauce is even for sale . We bought two bottles. A must try restaurant when you're in Joseph!!

Smokey Oil Sauce!!
This place was awesome!! Yes, maybe the portions were small but when we left, our plates were empty & our bellies full. Their Smokey Oil Sauce is to die for. We bought 2 bottles. We did not feel like the food was bland at all but it wasn’t very spicy either, which is just fine w/ us. Our waiter, who claimed to be Jose, was the best! He joked & had a great demeanor. Outside dining on the grass was awesome as well. Each table had an umbrella that could be adjusted to block most of the sun. We hope this place is still going when we come back next time to the Wallowa Lake area. Most definitely want to repeat our experience.

Food with no much taste
The service is attentive, but the food is mediocre. The margaritas had no alcohol; it's just a $14 glass of lemonade

Great time, & wonderful food
In town for a few days after our jet boat trip on the Snake, looking for a good Mexican restaurant and we found it. Jose our waiter, was awesome, made sure we all had a good time, the way Mexican restaurants should be; if you don't want to have fun don't come here. He is Mr Personality +, great soloist, but "fair dancer", great service. Cadillac Margarita was perfect, even better food, best chicken mole I've ever had, all the other meals were wonderful. "Jose, thanks for a great time & meal", Tom & Tye

Tasteless & small portions
Service was great! The gals that seated us and waited on us were superb! The food, however, was not good. The chicken enchiladas were very small, bland and tasteless. They came with the smallest portion of rice and beans I’ve ever seen. The carne asada was tasteless, and I practically had to force myself to eat it because I was so hungry. And it, again, came with extremely small portions of rice and beans. We left this restaurant feeling like we just ate appetizers and headed to another restaurant for dinner.
