Great meal and service
Great food and service from chips to meal. 1st time visitor, but very happy with the food experience. Order margarita, chicken nachos.

Busy and worth the wait
We went on a Saturday night which is very busy. Because we were a couple, we were seated immediately. Our server was obviously busy and gave us time but did not ask about details. For example, we both wanted margaritas and she did not ask which ones (they have a variety of choices). We just wanted the regular ones, which were quite good. The food came out and was very good, well-spiced, and plentiful. I had the pollo verde and my wife had enchiladas, our meal for tomorrow night.

The Food was good, but the rest below par.
Was in the area, wanting a late lunch, stopped here. I had not been here before. When alone, I prefer to sit at the bar if there is one, not take up a booth. First thing off - they have no Bar at all. After a while, some chips and salsa showed up, and a menu. It was nearly 2 PM on a Saturday, and it appeared to be a full Dinner Menu. I'd kind of expected to see a lunch menu, which are generally smaller plates, and lower prices. This menu was extensive, and most dishes were in the $20+ range. Being a Senior, I just don't eat large meals anymore, I really prefer a lunch-sized plate. A server showed up and asked if I was ready to order, but I hadn't been past the first couple of pages - It's an extensive menu. I ordered a beer. And continued with the menu. The beer was slow to arrive, but finally did. I was reading my kindle and sipping at the beer. Eventually the server returned and I ordered a shrimp dish - Camarones Mexicanos. The food arrived fairly promptly, and of course, was enormous. Way more foot than I'd really wanted. The obligatory refritos and rice, and a large portion of shrimp in a very nice sauce. I did the best I could with it. After a while, the server came by, asked if I was finished, and whisked away the plate - didn't even bother to ask if I'd like to take the considerable amount left. I won't be back to this place. While the food was quite good, the service was mediocre at best, and requiring ordering from a full-meal menu in early afternoon is a bit much.

Very pleased with this delightful little restaurant
The first thing that I notice in a place where I intend to eat is how clean it is. This restaurant was spotless, including the lovely restroom. It is clear that someone put a lot of heart and soul into creating the decor of this little gem of a restaurant. From the walls and tables to the little niche where the cash register is, this eating establishment is a delight for the eyes. The food was delicious and the service attentive, yet not intrusive. The prices were fair. I highly recommend La Hacienda Real.

Disappointed
Food was laking flavor. There was lots of it and many choices, but the food was bland. We had chili Colorado and the steak fajitas nachos. Restaurant was clean, but not Mexican food.
