In the 80s, Naser started his cooking career with a restaurant in his hometown of Damascus, Syria. A few years later, he opened another restaurant in Saudi Arabia. In 2016, Naser and his wife, Roula, moved to Corvallis to be closer to two of their children, who were attending OSU. After years of delighting gatherings of family and friends with their cooking, they decided to open a restaurant to share their specialties with the local community they have grown to love.

Exceptional staff & food! Drove 1 hr & 45 mins just to try this place and it was worth it! The food was so delicious! From the shawarma to the manoushet zaatar just fantastic! The staff was very welcoming and kind, came by often enough and made sure that all our needs were met before i realized i needed anything. Will definitely be back.

Hidden gem - fantastic food!
The food was very tasty! They provide a menu with pictures for people who are not familiar with the Syrian food they offer. We had the lamb, and the Shawarma chicken, both fantastic! We also got an appetizer. I can’t recall what the name was, but it was chicken rolls that came with a white cup that was a little thicker consistency. That was my son‘s favorite part of the meal! The service was great and the server was very friendly. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant out!

Lovely restaurant and delicious food
I was in Corvallis for just under a week. I managed to eat at Khalo Naser 2x, would have gone a few more times, but had leftovers to eat from the 2 meals!. Lovely restaurant and the best middle eastern food I have had overall. My family members who were not acquainted with middle eastern food were very impressed and loved the food. Now my favorite Corvallis restaurant.

A super find in downtown Corvallis—fabulous tasty menu, friendly service, unusual middle-eastern items.
Saturday evening this place was hopping: arriving early, we were thrilled! Proprietor ran restaurants in Damascus and Saudi Arabia before moving to Corvallis. A real eye-opener if you think only of falafel and hummus being Middle Eastern! We had really great traditional lamb platter and chicken shorma dish. But — never seen before — ground lamb patty spread across the plate and topped with pomegranate and tahini sauce— see Lahmi Belsahin, fabulous. Totally different was savory eggplant potato stew — Moskaet Betenjan. Server recommended for dessert a special warm cheese round, sort of indescribable really, look for Kanafeh on the menu online. Literally another ten menu items will lure us to return. What a treat !!

Marvelous Syrian Dinner
Great family owned Syrian restaurant with welcoming, attentive waitstaff. The Hummus is smooth and perfect w/warm pita style bread, but also ask for carrot & cucumber slices...So good! Lamb or Chicken Kababs & Lamb Shank with lightly seasoned rice are tender & fall apart good. The Salads are fresh and refreshing. Looking forward to our return.
