I love this place - it's never mobbed and the atmosphere is quiet and the food is fantastic. Their combo platters are generous and the dishes perfectly prepared. I highly recommend a visit.
I cannot wait for my coast trips to newport, depoe bay, etc. because I literally eat this chinese food every day I'm there and then buy more to bring home. It is so good, fresh fish, fresh vegetables, etc. The black bean sauce is the best. It can also be made gluten free, and celiac safe, for those who have this autoimmune disease and cannot usually eat chinese.
Out for a drive and had seen this restaurant on my gluten free app and decided to give it a try. The rest of the party of 4 was not GF. They all enjoyed there meals. The server was attentive and brought me a GF menu ( basically a regular menu with offerings that could not be GF marked out). Good portions. The GF offering was a little bland but food was hot and our service was good.
We walked in this restaurant, the waiter was very polite and got us water and menu right away. The two dishes - vegetables with tofu and happy family ( seafood and meat and vegetables) we ordered had the same kind sauce which was very salty. I didn’t eat much. The appetizer deep fried egg roll was good though.
Regular visitors and locals frequent this place for it's good value meals and excellent service. Good food. on par for most Chinese. Right on Highway 101. Just North of town.
