We stopped in for lunch. While we ordered two different items, we had more or less the same thing. I ordered the General Tsao’s chicken, lunch special and my wife ordered the dinner version for a dollar more which included an eggroll. Both items came with soup and we both ordered hot and sour soup. Also, both choices came with another protein, either barbecue pork or shrimp. We both opted for the pork. The soup was piping hot and nicely spiced. It was somewhat lacking in noodles, veggies and tofu. Very soon thereafter, our lunches arrived. As you’d expect from a Chinese restaurant, there was a lot of food on the plate. We had both asked for mildly spiced, but there was a jar of hot pepper oil on the table, and I added some to mine to spice it up. The General Tsao’s chicken was really good, but the accompanying barbecued pork was quite dry. But when I added the sauce from the chicken to it, it was good. Also, as you’d expect from a Chinese restaurant, we both brought home leftovers. We were both happy with our luncheon and will be returning again.

Excellent service for take-out, friendly and knowledgeable help with placing our order for desired level of hot/spicy. Garlic spinach from the Vegetarian Dishes page is awesome, and I appreciate the many (more than average) vegetarian options.

Best Chinese on the Oregon Coast
I love this place - it's never mobbed and the atmosphere is quiet and the food is fantastic. Their combo platters are generous and the dishes perfectly prepared. I highly recommend a visit.

The best Chinese food in Oregon
I cannot wait for my coast trips to newport, depoe bay, etc. because I literally eat this chinese food every day I'm there and then buy more to bring home. It is so good, fresh fish, fresh vegetables, etc. The black bean sauce is the best. It can also be made gluten free, and celiac safe, for those who have this autoimmune disease and cannot usually eat chinese.
