Jack Sprat's is a place for everyone. They are always looking to provide an excellent dining experience that comes with a great meal at a reasonable price. There's a kids' area, TVs, and an arcade with 60 classic games.

Quaint but average
Just the type of place I look for when out of town-middle of downtown historical area of Cottage Grove, Or. Outside seating, historical building complete with brick walls adorned with local artist. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast Food was mundane and greasy--not a joyful way to start the day. Their strength: definitely LOCATION, Their challenge: FOOD AND SELECTION.

Excellent food and service
Make sure you go here while in Cottage Grove. We went there for dinner and breakfast and both were superb! Unique choices for food and they have a small outside patio where we sat with our two dogs. Friendly staff, too! We did have to wait quite some time for our dinner; however, they were quite busy but it would have been nice if we could have been told, and perhaps we could have ordered something to tide us over until our entrees arrived.

Good Nachos
We had a light meal here with their nachos, which were very good. They were so loaded with pulled pork, beans, and salsa, that we had to ask for more chips to go with them. Service was good and there was live music on a Sunday evening.

One of your best bets for lunch on I-5
The menu isn't huge, but if you can't find something on the menu that appeals to you, that's on you. The variety and overall quality is very good, and is (mostly) far healthier than what you typically find this close to an Interstate.
