On a 14-day road trip, I almost passed by this restaurant just passing through Reedsport. My son wanted to check their clam chowder, so I pulled in. I am so happy I did. The atmosphere inside was relaxed and not loud. It was easy to carry on a conversation while we were waiting annd talking. Our server, Kendra, was playful, fun, and kept us hydrated until dinner arrived. When the food arrived, we both hit the chowder first. Amazing! We have tried it in many places and bought the best we could find at the store, but this was by far the best we have ever had. The pricing fit my budget, the wait time was average, and it is so worth it just for the experience. If I ever return to the state of Oregon, I shall return to Harbor Light restaurant.

Could it be any better?
Wow! Excellent in every way possible. From the service to the food it was phenomenal. Our waitress Gesme was a 15 out of 10. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and informative. My hubby ordered the Elk Burger and I ventured out and ordered the Wild Burger which was Elk, Wagyu Beef, Bison and Wild Boar. Man oh man were these burgers delicious. They came with fries that were homemade and some of the best fries I’d ever had! Our beers were cold and tasty too. I cannot wait to go back here.

Small restaurant, kitchen got backed up and wait times got long. Luckily we got in before the backlog. Food was very good.

I will never pass through without stopping
I got the pan seared salmon with lemon caper cream sauce. And the smoked salmon and fills our cream with the clam chowder. 11/10 and the service was awesome! Don’t forget the peanut butter pie and Marionberry soda.
