Salem’s family-oriented Korean restaurant. Enjoy well priced and delicious authentic Korean food for dine-in or take-out.
We had a very pleasant lunch sitting outside in front. Service very good. Food very good. Pan Chans, pancake, bimbimbop all very good.
Wow were we disappointed. We’d eaten here a couple years ago, and the kitchen is attuned to Salem tastes, but what awful pasty tasteless dreck did we get here. Our family takeout experience was sub par. One person, not usually a foodie, said: this is tasteless, is there some soy sauce? Ouch. We’d eaten recently at Corvallis Koriander -/ we won’t be returning here anytime soon.
I have been many times to Happy Bibimbap House. The food has been consistently excellent. The service excellent.
comfort food on a COLD day
We had delicious bibimbap and kimchi soup on a day when it was 35F in Oct! The service is friendly and we felt great about supporting a local restaurant during pandemic times. We ate inside, social distanced.
Excellent food, fantastic service
I had not been here in years, then decided to come with friends for a Friday night dinner. It was as good as I remember. My wife did not think she liked Korean food until she tried it here and she loved it as well. We got seated right away and ordered our food quickly. While we waited they brought an assortment of appetizers such as green beans, kimchi, and scallion pancake on the house. Dinner was delcious as well. I had the Dol Sot Bibimbap and my wife had the bulgoghi and they both were excellent. We ordered a sushi roll for the table and it was not necessary as we were so full, but we still ate it because it was delicious. After dinner they brought fresh watermelon slices to the table for dessert, also complimentary. Such a great place. Can't wait to go back.
