Girls Night Out
We had a great waiter. Not overly impressed with our food choices. Fries were not hot. Pulled pork was too spicy even for us. Sliders were underwhelming. Chicken sandwich was too thick making it unpleasant to eat. Soup of the day was loaded potato soup, but they were already out and had replaced it with pickle soup. I’ve had pickle soup elsewhere and it was good. This one wasn’t. I wouldn’t order the crème brûlée again. The custard portion was very thin with a thick crunchy coating of toasted sugar which made the sugar part of it overwhelming, causing a tummy ache. The prime rib sandwich was perfection. I’ve had the prime rib dinner here before, and it is worth going back for. Hoping they will get things worked out in the kitchen.

Decent place for breadfast
We hadn't been there in a while and decided to go for breakfast with our grandson. The service was good and the food was decent but nothing special. Grandson had a Mexican special breakfast and we had the morning specials. My sausage patty was small and good. The mimosas were fine.

Enjoyable 😉
Great food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend 👌 Prices are reasonable, children are welcome--highchairs available.

A Great Place for dinner or lunch.
The Half Penny is under new ownership but is still a nice place to have dinner or lunch. Later in the evening they often have live music. I had a pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. The service was also very good.

BK April 2024 Meeting
First the happy hour menu needs additional items. Good service. Everyone seemed pleased. CFS was tasty as well as the country gravey. Skimped on toast. We are returning in May.
