Highest quality mouth watering steaks and prime rib, tantalizing sih and seafood entrees. Famous Chuck Wagon salad bar. An all American restaurant with that good old west hospitality.

They charge almost 6% to use a credit card! Most restaurants realize CC is a cost of business. If they want to pass on, they have the right to, but should be posted not just add on and you have to ask. If they are paying 6% better look for a new processor, or are they marking up past the fee?

My wife and I went here with college friends for dinner. I had prime rib and my wife had the bacon wrapped filet with mushrooms. We split the blackberry cobbler for dessert. Service was a touch slow even for a Monday night which wasn't that busy but the food was excellent. We would eat here again.

This place has went downhill, way downhill! The food is diner quality at best. Way overpriced and a rip off! The staff are grumpy and good luck getting them to come by to check on you.

Best of the West
After reading a few of the reviews that were less than complimentary I'll have to say that such persons' sense of taste must be so sullied by fast food they have no comprehension of or appreciation for quality. That said, Haines Steakhouse is the real deal. I would like to have time to sample each entry, however the prime rib was outstanding. My son had a bacon wrapped filet and likewise found it excellent. The meal includes a generous salad bar with numerous toppings and dressings and there is prime rib chili, cornbread and garlic bread. It is all scrumptious. Prices are reasonable, the environment is classic western and the staff courteous. I have dined here some half a dozen times over the years, as live 1400 miles away (but always return), and it is nice to know there are reliable, quality establishments such as Haines Steakhouse - a medium rare treat.

ATTENTION ATTENTION. During our visit, I discovered hair in my food only after 6 bites. After notifying the staff, we were informed that the manager would assist us. However, upon my return to the register, I was met with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude by two owners. Despite my objections, they insisted that I pay the full bill. We expressed our dissatisfaction and requested a refund, but the staff refused to provide a receipt, claiming it would disappear from our account. We were shocked and upset by their behavior, particularly when an older gentleman (who appeared to be an owner) belly pushed my 71-year-old mother out of the establishment. We will not be returning to this business due to their poor customer service...
