Our go-to when we don’t know what to eat in town!
Probably my favorite restaurant on the block (along with Skout). Truly have not had a bad experience here. The food is fresh, light, tasty, and reasonably priced for Ashland. Service is always excellent, menu has a great variety of vegetarian, pescatarian, and omnivore options. Cozy, inviting, and delicious.
Awesome place but fix the dry sandwisches
These folks have a great menu. And the service and welcome are pure delight. I usually love their soups but ordered a sandwich as did my friend. It was really stuffed high but it was was super dry. Number one sandwich faux pas--never serve a dry sandwich.
I had a nice breakfast outside, service was pretty good although I think our server was really rushed off her feet. I had a nice Ashlandistan omelette with minimal grease. For breakfast, I would recommend Greenleaf over Brothers. Definitely would return.
Just alright food with poor service
I’ve gone to Greenleaf Restaurant over a handful of times. The food ranges from great to just alright. I’ve taken my immediate family, visiting relatives, and friends in the hopes of having a great dining experience. After yesterday’s poor service we won’t be returning or recommending this place. More times than not we get poor service (lack of attention from wait staff, long wait times for how many patrons are present, and there’s one server who consistently has a poor attitude). Improve service and we’d be happy to come back.

We arrived at 11 o'clock. Were seated inside at 10. Without menus. Were finally given menus by a random person walking by. Breakfast menus. Waited 20 minutes. Did not get any service from a waitress. Got up and asked for a waitress to come over so we could order. Was told "I am not your waitress" by the hostess. Waitress came over about 10 minutes later. Took order. Then we hear the cook yelling from the kitchen through the whole restaurant about how the waitress put in a breakfast order after breakfast was done. We wait over 40 minutes for our food. The food that came was incomplete and inedible rubbery and burnt. We had to leave and go elsewhere. The staff was rude and unapologetic. The waitress was nonexistent. While we were there the table next to us also was served incomplete food. And had to get up to get service. Another table left without eating due to length of waiting for food and service. I do not know what happened to Greenleaf but skip this place.
