My wife and I just got back from dinner at the Monmouth location where we each had fish and chips (with tip, I spent just under $75). While my wife thought the food was satisfactory, my fish seemed a bit off. I am trying to pin down what it was, but I am not 100% sure. The fillets were either in a freezer for an extended length of time, the breading might not have been completely cooked, or someone dipped frozen, pre-battered fish in fresh batter before placing in the fryer. It tasted like there was a layer of uncooked or undercooked breading. Given our past food experiences at the restaurant and our proximity to the "big blue wet thing," I was expecting something that might come close to the fish and chips you can easily find in towns like Lincoln City. Instead, it reminded me of Denny's. On a positive note, the clam chowder and general service were both very good.

I was staying with my partner at her brother’s house watching his girls for a few days. How we got roped into that WHILE THEY WERE REDOING THEIR KITCHEN, I’ll never know, but I ended up picking breakfast from Grain Works and I couldn’t have been happier. Their taco omelette was delish AND it was perfectly packed! When I got back to the house, even my toast was still crispy! They even cooked the potatoes well done and they were great. The staff was great and it seems like they’re a well oiled machine.

Local brews & homemade goodness!
Friendly staff! Had breakfast one day and loved corned beef hash! Dinner the next to try the brews! Yum!

I can't remember how many times I've been to Grain Station for breakfast, but more than for lunch. A large menu of potential breakfast choices awaits. They have a large outside patio as well. I've had the hash a couple of times. It is very good.

Our GoTo Restaurant
We love the Grain Station. They have a great breakfast menu and really good waffles. The staff and management are kind and friendly. We will never get tired of their eclectic menu.
