Got takeout again this year we got two lunch specials; sweet and sour pork and cashew chicken Both came with pork fried rice,2 spring rolls and a crab appetizer Portions are very large , the vegetables in the chicken were varied and fresh
We weren't sure what to expect but we were really in the mood for Chinese food on a chilly rainy spring day and every time we drove by the parking lot was empty but people were stopping to pick up orders to go. We decided to see if they were doing seating at around noon or if it was pick up only, thankfully we were able to get a seat on the bar side of the restaurant. I ordered the happy family, a standby for me so I am a bit of a happy family snob, and hubby ordered the chicken and vegetables, it came with a cup of hot and sour soup that we shared that was out of this world. The plates are large and come with smaller plates that you can dish for serving, which is nice. The obligatory egg rolls were delicious too, I would gladly have gone back if we were in town longer. The best part was our bill was only $21 plus tip, something we hadn't seen a lot of on the West Coast.
Wonderful take out - at this time they are doing take out only from the window on the south side of the restaurant, we got shrimp fried rice to go with our meal Shrimp were excellent
I drove by this restaurant at the beginning of my trip and thought it was closed. Looks are deceiving. It is open for takeout during the pandemic. The portions were huge, the food tasty, and the price reasonable. The almond chicken chow mein was divine. I chose take-out but they also deliver. Great food at a great price!
