Feel good food
After traveling in vacation for a bit we were tired of the same old options. This place was recommended by a friend. It had a nice vibe. Service was good and the food was great. Cheese curds were yummy. The Irish Stew was to die for. Definitely a hidden gem. Will definitely come again on our next travels to this area.

We love this place! The food is always great, the beer is always cold, the staff is always happy, there are always leftovers, and it's always a good vibe.

Great Irish Pub
We stopped here for lunch. It reminded us of the pubs we frequented when we visited Ireland. Low ceiling, tables close to each other (but not too close) and a very cozy atmosphere. The service was wonderful. The food was fantastic. We had cottage pie, honey mustard chicken salad and a steak sandwich. The food was seasoned just right. Washed it down with a Guinness stout. You have to visit this place!

Fantastic Meal
We both ordered the Fat Fillie and have to say it was as close to a real cheesesteak as could be that you would get in Philly and since we are both from there, we definitely know. Have been on the west coast for 35 years and try the Philly Steaks whenever they are available but this was, hands down, the best we have had. Fries were great as was the side salad which included carrots, olives, onions, cucumbers, crotons, and hard boiled egg - I was duly impressed. Great atmosphere and service was wonderful. And, of course, had to top it off with a Guinness.

Great experience!
We had such a wonderful experience at Fat Irish! My husband ordered the fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked and delicious, and I went with the clam chowder—it was rich, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. Our waiter, Darren, absolutely made the evening. I was torn between the clam chowder and the Irish stew, and without hesitation, he brought me a sample so I could decide. That small gesture spoke volumes about the kind of service he provides. Throughout the meal, he asked about us, shared a bit of his own story, and made us feel genuinely welcome. By the time we left, I felt like I had made a new friend—I even gave him a hug! Between the excellent food and Darren’s incredible hospitality, this place is a gem. We can’t wait to come back!
