Shepherds Pie a real winner
She had the Shepherds Pie. Excellent. I had the fish tacos it being taco Tuesday. They were a bit spicy but very good. Wish I had the server’s name as he was exceptional. This is a great spot.
LIVING OFF THE FAT OF THE LAND
Went here on a Sunday night. Busy for a off night (if there is such a thing in August at the coast). Service was off the charts good. All meals were 3 to 4 dollars less then i normally see in trendy parts of towns that we visit. All food was & looked good. Now people this is & Irish Pub, when i go i expect it to be rowdy (in a good way). Lived up to my expectations of what & Irish Pub should be. If you are looking for soft lights & atmosphere, this is not your cup of tea. If you are looking for a lively good time, come visit.
First Visit in a While
Hadn't been to the Fat Irish in a couple of years but stopped by for a Sunday Brunch/Breakfast. My wife had a corned beef hash and eggs dish which was served in a bowl with bacon and choice of toast. I had the standard 2 eggs with bacon, toast and potatoes. Large portions and food was very good. We;ll plan on doing it again on a regular basis.
We have been going here since it opened and always had fun and good food. We got an old stand by, Fish and Chips, and it was the worst ever. The batter was really thick and soggy. The delightful waitress had them re-make it with "new" batter. It was the same. We heard there is a new owner. Too bad, he ruined a good thing,
We ordered the fish and chips, Shepard pie and the Irish stew all of it was great. The Guinness on tap delicious. The pub was cute inside and the service was fantastic. I recommend this place.
