Ok, this is a HIDDEN GEM! I am a SF Bay Area native and very critical and experienced when it comes to a good sourdough! This place knocks it out of the park!!!!!!! We stopped by on whim on our way through town. We picked up a loaf of sourdough with walnuts and cranberries! WOW! It was a gigantic loaf and worth every penny of the $8.50 price. Stays fresh for days and we have made sandwiches, avocado toast French toast and still have several slices left. This place is only open on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 -5 so get there when you can! The absolute BEST
They make the most perfect sourdough ever! It's extra sour, soft, and you can't get enough, well I can't anyway. They make perfect cranberry walnut sourdough that is my favorite. Their sourdough has ruined me from any other because nothing comes close to theirs...NOTHING.. I live in Central Oregon and if I could just get them to ship me my sourdough... lol

Very Tasty!
A small bakery in the town of Empire on the corner of Newmark and Wasson St. Don't blink or you could miss it (and that's something you don't want to do!) They have a nice selection of donuts, both raised and cake, bismarks, bars, turnovers and rolls. I especially like thier apple fritters. They also offer a variety of drinks, from sodas to milk and coffee. But get there early, they close at 2:00 pm

SO GOOD!!
I saw their sign "donut and dogs" on the way to Bay Point Landing. We decided to go get some donuts for breakfast the next day while we were picking up a few grocery items for dinner that night. The marionberry filled glazed donut was so light, yummy, and HUGE. We made plans to pick some up on our way home to take to family. We must have not been the first one with that idea as they were almost sold out by 10 am. Definitely want to go back!!!

Best sourdough bread in the area...maybe in the State
I pick up bread here every couple of weeks. Fabulous bread. I have in the past sometimes had some gluten problems, but somehow their non-yeasted high quality sourdough sits just fine. Very grateful to be able to eat this bread!
