What a great suprise....they have Stone Bowles. What treat.. . Ingredients fresh and authentic. There is a cool Mexican market included with patterns, breads, pop, and meat market. We ùsually take out but that will change. Service was great too.
Having relocated to Salem two years ago, we were hard-pressed to find the kind of Sonoran food we were accustomed living in a border state to Mexico. Until we found El Ranchero! It quickly became our go-to for delicious, authentic Mexican food in the Willamette Valley! The first thing you’ll notice is the mouth-watering aroma of chicken cooking on the open-air grills out front. It’s no surprise that their grilled chicken is one of the most popular items on the menu, with many families stopping by for grilled chicken to go! For breakfast, definitely order a Cafe de Ollo while you wait for your breakfast burrito or plate. The classic Mexican coffee, served in traditional red clay mug, and wafting with cinnamon, is the perfect way to start your day. It’s like a hug in a mug from your abuela! Best mole I’ve had in years. Everything was above par. The quesabirrios was fantastic. Service was great. I will be returning again.
I was there with my family this afternoon for lunch, I waited to be put on the waitlist for a table. I was told it would be a 30 min wait and you guys would call me when one table became available. I waited over an hour and half and never got a call back!
We stopped by today and had a little wait because every table was occupied, but it was well worth it. Good food and good service. The menudo was excellent. We well be back.
