Nice Place, Just Getting Started
The place had only been opened a week or so when I visited so the review will reflect some startup bugs. It is certainly worth another try. I can give a much better quality review then.

Nice Place to Stop for Quick Lunch
had miso soup, roasted edamame, eel California roll, sushi. The service was excellent & fast. They were flexible in leaving out the cucumber, which I am not fond of. So that was very nice.

Zen
Best Thai food in our area by far! Our waiter was very attentive, refilling our drinks before we even asked, and when I asked for another order to go, he remembered how I'd special ordered it the first time and asked if I would like it made the same way. Fast service, served in less than 10 minutes. Pleasant atmosphere. Our new go-to spot for lunches and weekend outings

Hopefully it's going to improve when the place is finished.
Realistically, the fact that the restaurant is unfinished should have little to do with the food, but one can hope. We've traveled extensively, including Thailand, and I've never been so disappointed in Pad Thai as I was here. We'll return...someday.

Excellent food and service, modest prices
They have been open only a month, but seem to have their act together. The food and service were excellent. I had the salad rolls as an appetizer and the Tuna Lover's Roll as my entree. The salad rolls were better than I have had elsewhere in town, and the peanut sauce served with them was fantastic: peanut-y and spicy at the same time. I ordered a second plate of salad rolls after my tablemates helped themselves to mine. The Tuna Lover's Roll was like tekka maki on steroids: Tekka maki with an additional layer of rice on the outside, with another layer of tuna over that. It was definitely a meal in itself. The tuna was fresh and creamy. The rice held together without being gummy. My wife had edamame as an appetizer and California rolls as her entree. She said the California rolls had lots of krab in them, which endeared them to her. We all shared the edamame--tender and salty, as they should be. The other couple had the Garlic Sauce with chicken and the pad thai. They enjoyed both. Service was attentive without being overbearing. My wife's and my sushi arrived way before the hot dishes that our tablemates had ordered, though. Next time we'll ask that they be brought out together. The prices were very reasonable. Our tablemates' dinner came to around $20. Ours was about $35, but we had three appetizers on our bill. Since Zen Thai & Sushi is only about a mile from our house, I expect we will be frequent takeout customers. There are so many dishes, especially the curries, that I want to try from their menu.
