Driftwood Restaurant and Lounge has been serving Cannon Beach since 1944. This favorite is an institution for area residents and a wonderful find for visitors. It is a warm, casual restaurant, which we’ve recently embellished with a large outdoor fire-pit that overlooks the action on Main Street.

Wonderful Dining Experience
Loved this restaurant and would highly recommend. Service was excellent. My husband had the grilled salmon which was perfectly prepared. I had a dungeness crab roll which was the best I've ever had. There is both indoor and outdoor seating in the heart of Cannon Beach.

Our every night stop
We went to the Driftwood Restaurant and Lounge the first night at Canon Beach for dinner, and went there every night we were there for cocktails. Food was excellent with a less than expected price-point. The experience from the staff was the most impressive experience. Parker in the lounge was very welcoming and accommodating and the primary reason we returned every night. Thanks for the great time!!

Terrible!
Wife and I got seated in the lounge. We kept smelling something strange, then we noticed we are sitting next to the bathroom entrance. Every time someone went in or out of the bathroom we were getting a strong smell of urinal cakes from the bathroom. That was getting nasty to smell so we asked for another table and were told 45 minute wait. I’ve been driving 4 hours. Terrible experience and service. I’ve been here many times in the last 50 years. After today I think I won’t return thanks to the nasty situation and seating issues.

Good option in Cannon Beach
Cute place that has been around for a long time. Lovely staff. Food was food, but not great. Call ahead for a reservation.

Steve was a good waiter
Steve was a good waiter. The huckleberry lemonade was good but served in a rocks glass, I was expecting a taller glass. The garlic bread was excellent. My husband had the prime rib and prawns with vegetables and liked it. I had the prawns in garlic butter with fries. I’m not a salt person but kept adding salt to get more flavor. Maybe it was my tastebuds but thought the prawns were pretty bland and the fries were just ok.
