Good breakfast and smoked fish, clam chowder was heavy on the flour
We came here for breakfast one morning based on reviews. Parking can be a little tricky, some spaces can be a bit tight. The server was very friendly. Overall the breakfast was really good from everyone's opinion at our table, with one exception. Based on reviews I ordered a bowl of the clam chowder. It had a lot of clams, though unfortunately had a heavy flour taste. I'm not super picky, and not being from a coastal area (I've had way worse clam chowder) I still liked it, but others at the table did not. The smoked fish were great, we took some halibut and salmon to go.
Great food, great service, reasonable prices
Unassuming little place in Lincoln City with fantastic food! Many seafood options on the menu and also good choices for vegetarians. Great salads. Reasonably priced with very attentive service. I was traveling with a group of friends, and we liked it so much, we went back there again the next night. Our group enjoyed everything from fish and chips, fish tacos, salmon, and fettuccine alfredo with vegetables. All good!
Best place to eat at!!!!!
The best Salmon met sandwich ever. The best halibut and mashed potatoes ever. Wonderful salads. Crabcakes you die for so delicious .Great people and service. So kind.
We had been to this restaurant in the past and had a good experience. This time around however was a disaster. I ordered their steak with prawns. The side clam chowder and prawns were wonderful. The steak however was bland but worse yet about one third of it was gristly & hard to chew. I used a napkin to hid the tough pieces & placed them on the side of the plate. I mention this to the waitress & she shrugged her shoulders. I asked to speak with the manager. I was not after a big discount but wanted them to see how bad that part of the dinner was. The manager then got into my face and gave me an unbelievable story by insisting that they deliberately give us a bigger steak to compensate for the gristly portions. I told him that was hard to believe that they would do something deliberate like that. He repeated himself several times! He had no apologies about doing that to their customers. I have never in my life heard this tall tail before. Wonder how many others have?
First time visitor from MN
First time visit came recommended and did not disappoint! Everything was hot, fresh, and very tasty! Clam chowder was the best I have had. We shared the captains platter and couldn’t finish it all.
