Had to try something different this time. I had the cobb salad. It was very large and I couldn't quite finish it but it was very good. I have tried several things on the menu and each has been good. The service is good, just a little mom and pop place. The prices are average. No complaints from me.
Excellent meal. Got there around brunch time and mixed a hamburger with home fries. It was great. The service is good and the prices are fair. Worth a stop.
Want to get the virus for free? Come on in! According to the local newspaper this restaurant chose to remain open for inside dining during the required shutdowns. The owners stated they WILL NOT follow state recommended mitigation.
I hit between breakfast and lunch so I did a hamburger and hash-browns. The hash-browns were great and the burger good, juicy and messy. Perfect brunch. the service is good and there is plenty of seating. Great stop.
Every time I am in town we eat here. I have family that lives in Elgin and for a bunch of the residents this is the center of the community and they share a large table in the morning. Like sitting at mom's kitchen table. The food is Americana and the plates come to the table loaded with food. Prices are very reasonable.
