Italian cuisine served in the heart of La Grande’s historic distict. The handmade bread is baked fresh daily as are their homemade soups. While many of the dinners do lean more towards the Italian flair, Cock & Bull also features phenomenal American style sandwiches and burgers.

Hard to beat this cafe for a good meal. The service is outstanding and food to match and has been for the several years we have went there. Never been dissatisfied like I have in Ontario,Oregon. I highly recommend the Cock & Bull beef and turkey sandwich...but beware...be hungry.
Found this restaurant and it looked good and it ad good ratings so we decided to stop in for lunch. We walked in the door and it all seemed so familiar….. Come to find out we were here once before about 6 years ago. The food was still amazing. I had the Reuben and it was delicious as was their home cut fries. They make their own bread here which is amazing and it is delicious. I am glad we stumbled into this little restaurant again in our travels.
We were at a local hotel after driving and were tired. I called and found out that yes they would deliver to the hotel! We took advantage of the option that allows you to split the entree, and for $6 extra they will give you a second side and a second order of dessert (we chose cheesecake). The order was delivered quickly, the food was very good and they did split it for us. The half order was more than I could finish! The manicotti was very good as was the side of spaghetti it was served with. A very good and tasty deal.
We were road tripping northward and stopped in town for lunch and gave this place a try. Parked in front, across the street - plenty of parking. We were not in the mood for Italian heaviness and instead ordered sandwiches with fries. Large portions, not overly expensive, nice service and the food was pretty darn good too. If you're in town give this place a try. Good stuff.
While in town on business, I noticed pizza options in La Grande are limited. After a little searching, found Cock & Bull. Ordered the Carnivore pizza with jalapenos. Now THAT is a pizza. Thank you.
