Cirello’s Pizza has been serving Corvallis since 1981. Their one-of-a-kind location in Corvallis, Oregon has the thread of family running through the entire operation. The Cirellos still own and operate the restaurant and all their children have worked behind the counter. Their New York-style pizza recipe is old school from Italians actually from New York. Once you’ve tasted their dough and sauce you’ll understand how they’ve become known to people around the world.

Names Matter
I ordered two 8” pizzas for delivery, including a “Margherita.” In standard culinary terms, a Margherita is tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil. That is the basic definition of Margherita Pizza and not an obscure interpretation. What arrived was a white pizza with olive oil and heavy garlic instead of tomato sauce. Yes, the ingredients are listed under the large, bolded title. I did not read them because when you label something “Margherita,” customers reasonably expect a traditional red-sauce pizza. I called immediately after delivery. Instead of offering a remake or credit, I was rather dismissively informed “it’s olive oil, not white sauce,” and then “thank you for letting us know.” I did respond that it was quite garlic heavy and inedible. No resolution was offered. The result was one inedible pizza and a $50 bill for what effectively became one 8” pepperoni. The larger issue is not just the naming confusion. It is the complete lack of care and service recovery.

Rude service, mediocre food
I don't know if the guy who took our order was the owner or just an employee. He was older than the others working there (earing, glasses to add to the description). He was rude. Tapped his finger on the counter saying that the menu was "literally taped to the counter, just look!" when my daughter forgot the name of the pizza she wanted to order and again tapping and circling his index finger on the menu when I asked what options were available for the sandwiches "they are all listed right here!". He was rushing us off as if we were not clients but some annoying flies. And no, we are not snowflakes who get offended easily and I'm not going to use any of the popular trigger words like "unwelcomed" or "unsafe" or "mansplaining". We will just never return and neither one of us would ever recommend this place to anyone. To add insult to injury the food was mediocre at best.

We love Cirello’s
This is the best pizza in the Corvallis (or Portland or Eugene) area. We’ve been going regularly for about three years. We’ve had several family gatherings there. And we order delivery often. They are very concerned with customer service… they treat you like family. The food is amazing! Their salads are always fresh and their pasta sauce is to die for! And the pizzas!! You couldn’t ask for more and you will never be disappointed. We love it there! Give it a try if you haven’t!

Good pizza but not NY style
Good pizza with a thick chewy build. Whoever said this is NY style doesn't understand the thin crunchiness of a NY pizza. We loved the fresh tomatoes on our (enormous) medium veggie pizza. The small salads were very nice. Good beer too. Soccer on the TV and a very eclectic soundtrack.

Great pizza. Generous toppings.
The pizza was awesome. Very well prepared with generous toppings that were of good quality. House wine was good, inexpensive and a large pour. Pleasant enough atmosphere and friendly staff. You do order at the counter and bus your own table.
