Compare to mom’s
Walked in on a Thursday while waiting for shoppers and got a take out chowder and advised the owner/head cook that I would write w review if it was as good as my mom’s. I’m from New England and it was worthy. Great for a cold day waiting.

A great choice for lunch!
Excellent food and service (Matt was efficient and very pleasant). Reasonable prices. Fun nautical atmosphere. Right on the main strip, just a few steps from a great coastal ocean view.

Great fast service, food was good.
Small little sit down restaurant. Seated our group of 11 right away. Had chowder bread bowls and a Crab melt. Both were great!

A great stop for a variety of food!
We stopped in for a quick lunch before a whale tour. Kids ordered American standards; parents ordered seafood. The clam chowder was excellent! The fish and chips plate was excellent ! The boys loved their hamburgers (especially the pickles!) and our little girl enjoyed her PB&J with chips! Speaking of chips, they beat out an order of fries by a mile! Perfectly sliced and fried to a crispiness that couldn't be beat! Cody (wait staff) kept our water filled and gave us suggestions on how to beat seasickness out in the bay! Plus, everything was cooked and served with plenty of time to eat without feeling rushed! All in all, a great experience!

Good bowl of chowder
You can get a very nice bowl of chowder here for eight dollars. And there are other good options on the menu including clam strips for kids. The mozzarella sticks are also tasty. We also recommend getting some of their garlic bread. The place has a nice ambience. And the prices are reasonable. You can usually find free street parking nearby.
