Don’t waste your time. Smelly
Entree was good. Appetizers sucked. The bar stunk, the men’s restroom smelled like urine. The bartender kept change from lottery until I said that I wanted the change for my new grandbaby’s piggy bank, other workers from the restaurant were in the bar being loud and helping themselves to drinks behind the bar. Homeless people came in to gamble, one of them brought a pit bull into the bar that was very aggressive. Googled best Chinese restaurants in Corvallis, this one was rated number one? Really?? I would avoid this smelly place at all costs.

Really good restaurant
Me and my family have been eating here for years now, we always get their lunch special they have on weekdays. The only thing better than the food which is the best in Corvallis, is the hospitality of the owner and the employees. I really love all orchids they have in their main dining area!

We had a great experience here!
Four of us had lunch here in December 2021. The service was great and the food was wonderful. It was busy, so our waitress was with other customers when we needed some help. The owner passing through the dining room and saw us looking for her so he came over and helped us himself.

Unremarkable
Used to live in Corvallis and thought they had pretty good food. I got take out today on my way back to the coast. Ordered a combination plate with chow mein, shrimp, S/S chicken, and fried rice. Found the food to be very bland. The chow mein was fresh and piping hot and it improved with the soy sauce. The breading on both chicken and shrimp was way too heavy. It appeared the shrimp was cut into thin strips and breaded heavily. For the price, people ought to get a few decent pieces of shrimp. Rice was attractive looking but lacked flavor. The staff were the highlight--very welcoming and friendly. Sorry, can't recommend the food.

Christmas dinner... slow and warm; not hot
I've eaten here a number of times before with no big issues. Today, though, I was very disappointed. Now, keep in mind that today is Christmas Day and is one of the busiest for a Chinese style restaurant. That being said, I know this was not the first time around for this place, so I expected more. To be honest, I should have ordered my food as take out, in advance; I probably would have been served quicker. I was seated rather quickly as the restaurant didn't look "packed." The waiter came and took my order within five or so minutes. It took about five minutes after ordering when my egg flour soup came. Once I finished that, I waited...and waited....and waited. Orders were coming out of the kitchen pretty quickly, but they were all to go. I had ordered the Combination #5 (Almond Chicken, Swee/Sour Chicken, BBQ Pork, Egg Roll). I began to wonder what was up after it had reached the 30 minute mark from ordering. I was about to say something when my food came out. It was a nice presentation. The egg rolls were very hot; however, the other items were warm and some of the pork was even approaching cool. Only the veggies that were underneath everything were hot. I though about saying something, but things were so busy (almost chaotic in sound) I didn't want to risk having to wait another 30 minutes for them to re-make my dinner. I went ahead and ate what I could and took the rest home for a second meal (I always enjoy the quantity of food at these places). I paid for my meal and left. I'll probably eat here again, as they do a good job with lunch and it isn't super busy. As for a destination for Christmas dinner...never again.
