Everything was wonderful. Food was fresh and delicious. Food arrived quickly and portions were large. Staff was friendly and generous.

Nasty. The meat had gone bad and was still being served. We had a couple of bites and left full plates and left. This one scared us off Chinese food for awhile..

Not recommended
They appear to be trying to make their food from scratch but are failing. The food was bland and lacked salt. What flavor there actually is was not good. Egg flower soup had a strange plastic flavor. The General Tso’s chicken had a good crisp in places but it had no salt and what flavor it did have wasn’t good. Silverton needs a good Chinese restaurant.

Chan's may not be the most cutting edge Chinese restaurant in Oregon, but the food is good and well-prepared. This restaurant has been a staple in Silverton for decades, and we love it. The Chan family is respected and hard-working. Love the fried shrimp!
